Pyong An Cho Dan

  1. Begin in Junbi (ready) stance. Look to the left.  Fold left hand for a low block. Step back and to the left with left foot.  Turn 90 degrees to the left into a front stance while executing a left hand low block.

  2. Raise left hand into reverse punch position. Step forward with right foot into a front stance while executing a right hand reverse punch to the solar plexus.

  3. Look over right shoulder.  Fold right hand for a low block. Bring right foot around and turn 180 degrees to the right into a front stance while executing a right hand low block. Rotate right hand into a right hand outside block position (as if breaking free from a wrist grab) while turning into a back stance.

  4. Slide right foot up to left foot (feet together) while executing a right hand back fist to the head. 

  5. Step back out with the right foot into a front stance while executing a left hand reverse punch.

  6. Look to the left.  Fold left hand for a low block. Step to left with left foot.  Turn 90 degrees to left into a front stance while executing a left hand low block.

  7. Fold left hand for a knife hand block and execute a left hand knife hand block while turning into a back stance.

  8. Fold right hand for a high block. Step forward with right foot into a back stance while executing a right hand high block.

  9. Fold left hand for a high block. Step forward with left foot into a back stance while executing a left hand high block.

  10. Fold right hand for a high block. Step forward with right foot into a back stance while executing a right hand high block. KIAI

  11. Look to the right.  Fold left hand for a low block. Step around to the left with the left foot turning 270 degrees into a front stance while executing a left hand low block.

  12. Raise left hand into reverse punch position. Step forward with right foot into a front stance while executing a right hand reverse punch to the solar plexus.

  13. Look over right shoulder.  Fold right hand for a low block. Bring right foot around and turn 180 degrees to the right into a front stance while executing a right hand low block.

  14. Raise right hand into reverse punch position. Step forward with left foot into a front stance while executing a left hand reverse punch to the solar plexus.

  15. Look to the left.  Fold left hand for a low block. Step to left with left foot.  Turn 90 degrees to left into a front stance while executing a left hand low block.

  16. Raise left hand into reverse punch position. Step forward with right foot into a front stance while executing a right hand reverse punch to the solar plexus.

  17. Step forward with left foot into a front stance while executing a left hand reverse punch to the solar plexus.

  18. Step forward with right foot into a front stance while executing a right hand reverse punch to the solar plexus. KIAI

  19. Look to the right.  Swing arms out to right in preparation for a left hand low chop. Step around to the left with the left foot turning 270 degrees into a back stance while executing a left hand low chop.

  20. Look 45 degrees to the right.  Swing arms out to left in preparation for a right hand low chop. Step 45 degrees to the right with the right foot while executing a right hand low chop.

  21. Look over right shoulder.  Swing arms out to left in preparation for a right hand low chop. Step 135 degrees to the right with the right foot while executing a right hand low chop.

  22. Look 45 degrees to the left.  Swing arms out to right in preparation for a left hand low chop. Step 45 degrees to the left with the left foot while executing a left hand low chop.
