Christian Karate Academy

Students must be able to recite all 12 Bible verses (Childrens, Adults) at the start of belt testing.  Students must have the complete Christian Karate Academy uniform for testing.  In addition to requirements of 1st Red, students must know:

	Bassai
	Break Ten 1-inch boards (12"'X12" square) Five single boards using a combination of hand strikes and kicks Five at once using a hand strike or kick
	Demonstrate location and use of Pressure Points
	Demonstrate 5 Original One-Steps using Pressure Points
	Two Gun Defenses
	Free Sparring against four to five opponents at once
	Will have an oral exam
	Must have turned in a 500-word written essay on 'What Christian Karate Means to Me'

Black Belt candidates will be expected to have attained a high level of physical fitness.  The First Degree Black Belt tests lasts a minimum of 2 hours and you will be expected to perform for the duration of the test.  Please prepare accordingly.
