Christian Karate Academy

How much does it cost?

The Christian Karate Academy is an outreach ministry. We do not and will not profit from this ministry. All money goes to paying expenses for equipment, supplies and class functions.

For students at Cornerstone Baptist, we request a $20/month donation per family to cover our costs as we have to reimburse the church for their costs of lights, heating and cooling.

Students at County Line church are asked to donate $5/month to the ministry. This nominal fee helps us covers our costs for rank belts, achievement patches and other expenses for our programs.

If you choose (and most people do), you may test for rank belts and be recognized for your accomplishments. In order to test, a CKA uniform will be required. There will also be classes where sparring is done. In order to participate in sparring, you must have a complete set of sparring gear. We also have T-shirts and CKA Handbooks printed from time to time and those are available for purchase. Remember that every cent we make goes back into the class.

Gold through Brown Belts - $ 30.00

Red Belt Tests - $ 40.00

Black Belt Tests - $100.00

Sparring Gear

If you want to spar, you must have headgear, gloves, feet gear, a mouthpiece and a supporter & cup for male students. You may purchase additional pieces if you want or deem necessary. Some people use goggles to protect the eyes, chest guards and shin guards. The following is your instructor’s recommendation for the mandatory gear:
